Accessibility commitment

StetPro is used by students who rely on assistive technology and by staff in schools, colleges and universities. Accessibility is treated as part of the product, not as a separate exercise: it is considered when features are designed, while they are built, and when they are tested before release.

We aim to make the service usable with a keyboard alone, with screen readers and other assistive technology, at increased text sizes, and on a range of screen sizes. We do not claim the service is perfect, and we act on issues that are reported to us.

Standards

StetPro is developed with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines inform our design decisions, development practices and testing.

This statement describes our approach and the outcome of our own reviews. It is not a formal certification, and it does not constitute a legal declaration of conformance. Institutions carrying out their own procurement assessment are welcome to contact us for further detail.

Accessibility testing

Accessibility reviews combine automated checks with manual testing carried out by the product team. Reviews cover the public website and representative screens within the signed-in application. Testing includes:

• Automated accessibility testing of public pages against recognised accessibility rules
• Manual keyboard navigation testing, including tab order and visible focus
• Colour contrast verification for text and interface elements
• Responsive reflow testing across mobile, tablet and desktop screen sizes
• Focus management testing for dialogs, menus and page navigation
• Form accessibility testing, covering labels, instructions and error messages
• Ongoing regression testing as part of routine release checks

The most recent verification was completed on 12 August 2026. A detailed record of the testing carried out is held internally and can be summarised on request for procurement or compliance purposes.

Continuous improvement

StetPro continues to develop, and accessibility reviews are repeated as the product changes. New and significantly amended features are checked before release, and periodic reviews are carried out across the wider service.

Feedback from students, support staff and institutions is an important part of this process, and we welcome reports of anything that makes the service harder to use.

Known limitations

At the time of the latest accessibility review on 12 August 2026, no known WCAG 2.2 Level A or AA issues affecting the public-facing website had been identified. This does not guarantee that no issues exist or that none will arise as the service develops. Where issues are identified, we record them and work to resolve them.
